Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. A half English and half Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The father of her is Argentine, of Scottish-English heritage. Her mother's ancestry is Spanish as well as English. Four of her siblings belong to her father's previous marriage. Buenos Aires was her home until she turned six, and the family relocated into Victoria within London. According to Taylor-Joy, the move was traumatic and she was unable to study English in the hopes of returning to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school when she moved from Northlands. In the following years, she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. After she turned 16, Taylor-Joy dropped out to focus her full-time acting career. From a young age Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to work as an actress. her goals were realized after she was offered a modeling job by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
