Harry

Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter, and musician from England. He was part of One Direction. He is the son of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born on February 1, 1994, in Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, which is where he formed his own musical band with 3 classmates. The band was named White Eskimo. The band's outstanding performances enabled them to take home the Battle of Bands 2009. Even though he had always been interested in the music world but despite his enthusiasm for it he wanted also to be a lawyer or physical therapist. As a worker in the city's pastry shop Harry Styles could afford to provide for his family. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition in which he performed Stevie Wonder's hit song Is not She Lovely. The group was then forced to disband due to this. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury member of The X Factor suggested Harry Styles to join the band One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to join the group in the year 2010. The group performed Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Be Sucky Without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart at the time of the contest. This helped them become one of the leading contenders to win the competition. The group was however placed third behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell were not able to take home the prize. However Cowell provided Harry Styles a 2 million pound contract to sign up with Syco.
