Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a television arbitrator from Cuba on Caso Cerrado and Ana Polo Rules. Ana was born and raised in Havana, Cuba. Then she moved to Miami with her family around the age of 2 following her move from Havana. Ana Maria Polo from Habana is the producer and host of Telemundo's "Caso Cerrado", one of the most watched Spanish-language programs that the channel airs. It was a finalist for one of the Daytime Entertainment Emmy for Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards in 2015. In 2015 it ranked as the highest for all the key demos. Polo is a Cuban-born American who was born on the 11th of April 1959. She went to Florida International University and graduated with a degree in political science. She then earned the PhD in law at The University of Miami. For 20 years, Polo worked in Miami. After earning her PhD from University of Miami in law and working in the law profession in Miami city for over 20 years. Polo was the first to make an appearance on the screen in 2001 when she was part of Telemundo's Sala de Parejas. Her legal skills were also used in other court shows. Literature and Awards In 1958, she released Los Hijos Muertos. This novel earned her the Critic's Prize as well as the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute fled Spain in the United States 1960. Polo was an ovarian cancer survivor, regularly raises funds for the cause and speaks at events. In her long life, she's been fighting to ensure LGBT equality. She received her law degree in 1987 from University of Miami School of Law.
