Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been a director, actress as well as a producer, playwright, and teacher in St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's father is British and her mother, a Turkish Cypriot English expat. She remembers watching her mother work at play rehearsals. She appeared in many commercials when she was a child. In November 1999, Anna moved to Toronto in order to further develop her acting career. She eventually making the move to Los Angeles, California, within the next decade. Seth Cooperman met Anna at an Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007. They were engaged.
